The age-old problem of what to get the guy or girl that's got the lot this Christmas, will once again lead to gadgets proving popular, with portable sat nav in particular promising to catch the eye.
But with so many devices on the market these days, it can be difficult to discern between them, which is why What Car? magazine has come up with its most comprehensive test ever...comparing mapping, on-screen info, ease-of-use, price and extra bonus features, to come up with a definative list of which are worth wrapping up this Christmas.
Split into three categories - under £150, £150-£250 and over £250 - Clarion claimed third spot in the sub £150 category with the MAP370, whilst the MAP670 gained 5 stars and top honours in the £150-£250 category.
'A clear winner in this budget', What Car? hailed the MAP670 as 'a great navigator with super-quick menus', going on to comment that 'if you've got a maximum £250 to spend, there's not much to compete with the Clarion's all-round capabilities.'
