The showpiece of many a motoring event is sadly no more, following a devastating fire that reduced Clarion's fondly-regarded rig to little more than a chassis.

Suspected to have been arson, the fire at a large farm building left no remnants of a rig recently upgraded to include Clarion's award-winning 2007 product line-up.

And whilst the tractor unit was not attached at the time, Clarion’s PR firm MPH pointed out that “That’s the easy bit to replace. This was a one-off rig and impossible to replace like-for-like. We’ll have to start from scratch.”
